1. Sorry, i need to rant a bit here.

   Are you saying that with all their whining & moaning & defaulting that they have been charged only 6% interest on their student loans??? Then wtf is the problem???

   I had a 7% rate back in 1977, and it was considered a special low interest rate for students. And I paid my loan off all by myself. But I also went to a 2 year bachelor’s degree intense curriculum school, who’s credits would count if i chose to continue at a full 4 year college later, instead of attending for 4 years initially, that i could not afford at that time. Live within your means. AND I chose a subject that I knew I could get hired with. Not rich, but id always have work. School was intense but I graduated in the upper level of my class because I stayed at home, no dorm or parties, to be sure I was serious about my education without distractions. After graduation the job search was constant work with many let downs, but you stick to it. And guess what? Sometimes you have to temporarily take a lower job not in your field until you find the right one. Have an income by doing whatever you need to do. Suck it up. Do the work. And… when you do finally get into an area of your liking… be prepared to start at the starting level and work your way up. You do need to prove yourself. Your skills, work ethic, reliability, professionalism, communications, ability to work with others, etc, etc. Show them, What can you bring to this company to benefit them? Why do they want or need you? No entitlement. EARN it. Do the work. No whining. No calling off because some concert will keep you up late or you’ll be hung over. BS! High-school is over. Time to act like an adult. Take responsibility for yourself.
