Wow! A reporter with the courage to ask good questions! Make no mistake. Hamas is the party in power in Palestine, so this was an act of terror perpetrated by one nation on another nation. Israel has a moral responsibility to defend its citizens. The answer to Ilan Omar’s question is, “As many as it takes to exact an unconditional surrender from Hamas.” One of the unfortunate consequences of war is that innocent people are killed. In this instance, the responsibility for the loss of those lives lays at the feet of the Hamas barbarians who thought killing innocent women and children was a justified act. Omar can get as hysterical as she wants, but the truth is those innocents are dying because of the evil perpetrated by Hamas not because of any misplaced desire for vengeance on the part of the Israeli people.
