The irony of the store employee defending the public with a firearm being prosecuted for a felony, while five criminals with weapons get charged with a misdemeanor, is unconscionable.
As a CA Native, who abandoned this ‘State-of-Insanity’ twenty years ago, I realize one very simple fact- We get exactly the kind of society WE TOLERATE/ALLOW!
The store worker should be hailed as a hero, but NOT in Crappyfornia. If that store has branches in other states that worker should be offered an all expense paid transfer to a store that would appreciate his loyalty to the store.
