The most comical part of this is that these stupid solar farms and electric windmill farms are built in tornado alley which has some of the worst weather in the country. Reminds people of the ice storm in Texas that wiped out the electric windmills. Just proves that the standard coal fired electric plant is still the most reliable. All you had to worry about was the power lines coming down because of bad weather. With these alternative electric generation systems we have to worry about a hell of a lot more than just the power lines.
I don’t think these hair brain schemes like windmills, solar fields, electric cars and now a multimillion square mile solar shade are about science or saving the planet. They are typically proposed by anonymous investors with close ties to politicians who sponsor bills to invest billions of taxpayers dollars. After the bill passes, the money disappears, the companies go bankrupt and its onto the next scam.
