I walked past a University in Brisbane Australia where there were kids promoting Communism as well. One of them approached me and wanted to present his message and he said “Under Capitalism there are so many people living in poverty”, to which I responded “But in Communist countries, everybody is poor and there still is a rich elite imposing tyranny”. Then suddenly his Communist friend came along and went “Hey we are packing up right now and not taking anymore questions”. They always flee, because their ideas never stand up to logical scrutiny.
Nobody understands the evil of communism better than the people who suffered under it. Respect to this Cuban guy confronting these drones.
One doesn’t need to have “lived” in a communist ruled country to know it is a horror. In our own hemisphere we have what was one of the richest countries in the world, Venezuela, when Chavez kept pushing until he took over the country for communism and in a very few years destroyed it. Folks who had prosperous lives were then in line for food, clothing – anything and little freedom. Years ago we traveled through East Germany and visited a day trip in East Berlin – virtually empty streets, folks one did see, dressed in black and grey, nobody smiling, laughing while West Berlin was like stepping into technicolor with traffic, happy folks, courteous and busy – it was amazing. No wonder there were hundreds literally shot and killed trying to run over the border from East to West Berlin. Imagine killing your own people because they wanted to leave the country!!!!??? What is wrong with these young people who fall slavishly into belief in a such a destructive horrible never successful, never happy way of life?????!!!!!
