I live in Upstate NY and noticed ALL winter the local muck farm was lit up like a Christmas tree. No farming in the middle of winter!! Now there’s porta potties, a volleyball net, cookers and such. Nice of taxpayers to take care of the riff raff. I’m an old lady on Social Security and have to pay taxes, electric, medical and they get it all for free!!

We have sponsored 2 people through the Humanitarian Parole program. They are completely documented and within 6 months have tax-paying jobs, a car, and their own place to live…they started out living with us and we totally introduced them to the American way of life. They aren’t looking for handouts. The tales that leaked out over time of their homeland were truly terrifying.
Now we have applied for a family of four from a different country who intend to support themselves as quickly as possible.
My family’s immigration was possible because of a sponsor in 1950 and the teens and father had jobs within a week.
Immigration isn’t bad in itself, but the way it’s being done today is.
