Ya’ know, karma is a fictional concept designed to make us feel better when good things happen to bad people (“oh, yeah, well, just wait until karma kicks in – he’ll get his…”) and yet it’s hard not to see karma at work in these fires in LA. I mean, look at who’s gettin’ burned out. Malibu – abode of hyper-rich, largely liberal cucks who are constantly virtue signaling, especially about DEI type stuff. These are the people who supported, with their money and their influence, the morons who left LA vulnerable to these kinds of disasters. Pacific Palisades? Ditto. Fires in the Hollywood Hills. Ditto. If anyone deserved to watch their homes burn down, it’s these folks. I mean what could seem more just than ultra-conservative actors like James Woods (who has been vilely punished by the Hollywood elites because of his politics) being spared while the houses on both sides of his own are burnt out shells? Sure seems like karma. Sure feels like the “Hand of God”… Except that, among these fire victims are thousands of ordinary folks who didn’t deserve this misfortune. Believe it or not, California is a mostly Red State – the only Blue areas consist of the urban areas around SF and LA-SD and, of course, Sacramento, along with a very thin strip of Blue along the coast from Mendocino to Mexico. The people in Placerville and Paradise and Oroville were also victims of these inane policies and they, unlike the people in the Blue areas, did not support this crap. So maybe all we can do is hope that these fires, striking at the heart of Woke-fornia, will wake at least some of these Libtards up. Unfortunately, it’s not clear that even a disaster on this scale is adequate to that task, ’cause, as the man says, “you can’t fix stupid”.
