Mental health is not a joke!!!

The sad part about this is it’s going to shine a light on the problems too many veterans face just to slide back into the shadows all to quickly

  1. Yeah, it is easy to look around and see how hard it is to make a life, after the kind of experiences and mindset he seems to have had. It is not an easy thing to “seek help” for many. Everything can be changed in the mind of those haunted by horrors. It was sad to hear a commentator on one news show said “he knew about explosives… he knew he was the only one likely to die”. Our veterans sometimes have mental issues to work through. Professional help and sometimes an appropriate medication helps these veterans who are willing to participate. I wish this man who served valiantly could have found peace in this life. Forced compliance with treatment and therapy would have been unlikely to help, in my opinion. It is sad.
