Justice did NOT win. The dude got dragged through a murder trial, will have to either move and change his name or be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life, and other Daniel Pennys in the future will be highly disincentivized from being good Samaritans. I’m glad he’s not going to prison, but this was not a “victory”.
