The old adage — ‘An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure’ doesn’t make Big Pharma as much money. That’s why the American health care system is in such a mess. Big Pharma looks at it as the sicker they are, the more money they will spend on drugs — our drugs! Cancer screening is a prime example of how the health care system fails Americans. Instead of early screening to possibly detect and/or minimize the effects on a person, insurance companies are pressured not to cover those practices under pressure from politicians who are paid by Big Pharma.
