It is so hard to read the angry comments posted here, but sad to say, they are written because of the sadness in their hearts, and I am right along there with them. This America is not the America I grew up in. I am 88 years old, and I have never in my life been ashamed of my country. Sadly, I am not proud to say that. If only we could have a government that works for the people, and not for themselves, we just might be able to turn things around.
