Several of the Judges pointed it out to colorado’s attorney that the second part of the amendment is for state elections where the 3rd part of the amendment is for National elections. They can only do it on their state elections Not the National elections. I thought the Judges done a good job on explaining it and the History behind it. I’m sure some confederates that wanted to hold power after the Civil war had bad intentions so they had to have a law in place to stop them from doing it or we would of been fighting the Civil war for decades and that wasn’t good for the country at all. Cotton had a lot of money behind it in them day’s and the Confederacy had the control of that market. That was one of the main reason’s for the war. Without their money DC couldn’t have built nothing, the confederates held them cards.
