It’s probably just my age, so go ahead and call me “Boomer,” but I routinely mock every social media friend request I get from an under-40 woman who is scantily clad and provocatively posed in a bathroom selfie as her profile photo. I know the friend requests are mass market and I’m just one of millions they’re sent to, but I find it simultaneously pathetic, tragic, and comical that the senders think someone my age would be interested in a woman who has nothing else to offer. They need to use software that filters out everyone over 50 who has at least two functioning brain cells.
