The state of Illinois has asked Indiana to add some Republican counties to their state. Illinois is a sore thumb that sticks out blue among the surrounding red states. I believe the majority of the rural areas are Republican and hate it when Illinois always turns blue. Force Chicago to secede from the state then it will turn red. The scenario is happening in eastern Washington, Oregon and northern California. They want to get away from the Democrats who ruin all they touch. Northern California wants to cut away from the south and Washington state and Oregon want to go east to get away from the western parts of their states.
