Bravo to this young lady who stood her ground!! These businesses think they can bully anyone and the nerve of them to give her such a hard time about her money! She acted politely and calmly ( much more than some people would ). I myself would have flown off the handle! This young lady taught me a lesson to stay calm but firm about the decision. If she doesn’t want to comply with the mask mandate, she could do most banking online including withdrawing or transferring all of her funds.
What everyone is failing to see is that this not a private company. Wells Fargo is a publicly owned company and the people that put money in this bank are paying their salaries. You have to understand that the money you deposit is also the money that is being given for loans to other people. These banks better tread lightly because if people decide to stand up to these banks like this woman is, they will fold like a cheap suit. And the dipshit at the beginning that has nails so long she can’t wipe her own butt needs to learn a thing or two before she opens her mouth
Mandates are not laws. Anyone that tries to force you to do something you do not want to do is against the law even in a bank. The people in the bank could have been arrested for their unlawful maneuver. It is also Coercion which is also against the law. Coercion is 21 code Fed. Res section 50.23 & 24 WHICH IS A 100 million dollar fine with a 99-year prison sentence. The Wells Fargo bankers should have been arrested and thrown in jail. Period! Those bankers do not own human beings. That is also slavery which also they can be sentenced for.
I quit Wells Fargo 20 years ago. They’re a rip-off. Then they act like they’re doing you a big favor by letting you open an account in their precious bank. Then they charge outrageous fees for their services and if you get ripped off by the ATM that Wells Fargo owns and it’s after closing time for the bank, it’s tough shit. Wells Fargo just made more off their customer (sucker). Fuck Wells Fargo!

The difference I see is the people who were refused service, who wanted a cake or an invitation printed, didn’t own the cake or invitations and were not asking to get their property back. The woman in the bank demanded her property back, it’s not the banks’ property, it’s the woman’s property and the bank can’t keep it if the woman wants it returned immediately. The manager did the right thing, and he should teach his employees to do the same. As we were taught in the military, “adapt and overcome”. This is clearly a case where the employees should have adapted and overcome the hostile situation they created. Just process the deposit employees, thank the woman and wish her a good day.
Just do an online transfer of her money to her new bank where she wants it to be sent to.
