As a mother with two kids with mitochondrial disease, it bothers me that those women did that by choice. Why would you KNOWINGLY inflict a disability on your child? We stopped having children biologically, as soon as we found out medically that we had genetic mutations that made both of our kids sick. That is insane to me!
Intentionally having a kid being born deaf is just flat out evil, why would you want your child to suffer ON PURPOSE, there’s nothing you can do to justify that
