Vote based on the issues not the party. It’s difficult to do that, I know. I voted for Kennedy, then Johnson, then Nixon, then Reagan, the Bushes, Clinton, Trump and their slate hoping that some meaningful change would occur with a President and his party majority in Congress. Well, we learned that doesn’t work. But what will? A third party? Dumping the 17th Amendment and revert to Senators being selected by the state legislatures so the Senators would focus on states rights and not shifting public opinion? Reducing the size of government by eliminating some of the Cabinets, like Education or restructuring agencies like Bureau of Land Management (why does land management require armed to the teeth rent collectors)? IMHO
