The one thing that I cannot believe is that there are all of those teenagers sitting under that tent, and not one of them had their cell phone out to record anything? That would be like an impossibility anymore. At least one of those kids from under that tent has a video of the whole thing in high definition.

One question that was never brought up in any testimony. When Karmalo pulled out the knife from his backpack, was the knife folded or was it open? Based on the “push me and see what happens” Karmalo said, swiftness of the stabbing had to be because the knife was already in an open position while inside in backpack. If the knife was folded closed, and he pulled the knife out, Karmalo would have to take extra seconds to open the knife with both hands to create a deadly weapon. (I’ve never known a person to be able to open a folded knife with one hand.) Athough Medcalf said, “I don’t want to fight you”, Medcalf would have reacted quickly and jumped back from the sight of the knife from being stabbed. Medcalf had no chance to react. The mear fact that Karmalo stabbed Medcalf in one quick motion (hand inside the backpack, hand on the knife), and the knife already opened fully inside the backpack. As a result, the knife was open inside his backpack. This confirms, Karmalo had a premeditating thought to perpetuate a crime. Karmalo was looking for trouble when he entered that tent. The jury made the right decision, “GUILTY”. The penalty should have been 50 years, serving without parole.
