Two terms of 4 years each for both the Senate and the House, just like the President. Currently the Senate terms are 6 years long and the House terms are 2 years long. That way there’s no confusion.

I would say stop paying them, but they are so rich, they can live off their portfolio indefinitely but stop the pay anyway. They like equity so much, give them a good taste during the shutdown what it was like for us during covid.
