We pay for their junk food just to turn around and pay for their diabetes treatment

      • Bet you a $100 to a do-nut hole there are a great deal more overweight people with diabetes, than there are under weight people with diabetes.

        • Totally agree and junk food can definitely contribute to diabetes even if you don’t gain extra weight (which could be because of one’s higher metabolism). Whining about having to eat healthy foods with free food stamps is pathetic – looking a gift horse in the mouth. I’m all for pulling your EBT cards, you ingrates.

  1. Trump is NOT the first president to limit bad food and alcohol. I just wish PRESIDENT Trump would try and implement a bill that YOU MUST get a job and if you do, your “supplemental “ income decreases until you can do it alone. Those who do not try, you are off the money train in year two.
The Government was NEVER meant to be a charity.

  2. The two females in the photo says it all. They seem to always have enough money to afford piercings, tattoos, tattoo eyebrows, illegal drugs, alcohol, air buds, etc., but not enough money to feed their kids. Why do I have to feed their kids? My wife worked while pregnant with our two kids and afterwards until they graduated. Both of them are working while raising five kids between them. How come these people are so special that they don’t have to work?

  3. As a cashier at a major grocery store. I have rang up people with one cart of nothing but junk food. The cart is full of multiple bags of chips, soda, sugary cereals, candy ect. I’m talking $200 or more and they swipe a snap card. No fresh fruit or vegetables, not even canned foods. I see this the 3rd day of every month when their cards are reloaded. I’m a retired nurse (73)and can’t make my bills without working part time. Yes, I get $25 in snap benefits and I have to get foods that will feed me for a month and junk food will not last anywhere near that long.

  4. I get $105.00 reloaded monthly on my U Card through my SS Medicare program. I can use it for OTC drugs and healthy foods. No junk food is allowed. So, if I want to buy snacks, I pay for it myself. That really helps with my groceries and I’m grateful.
