Patrick Fitzgerald, Comey’s lawyer, is a godparent to Comey’s kids. Fitzgerald was the prosecuting attorney, most would agree wrongfully so, of Scooter Libby while GW Bush was pres. I was acquainted with Patrick Fitzgerald as a fellow atty when I worked at the US Atty’s Office – Southern District of NY in 2001. After 9/11/2001 GW Bush appointed James Comey to head the SDNY office, replacing Clinton appointee Mary Jo White. The point is they’re all Deep State players, basically family to each other. Fitzgerald is a neurotic quirky legal egghead capable of prosecuting or defending a ham sandwich, be careful.
Much as I detest Comey, I would advise the Trump administration to exhibit more restraint when dealing with their political enemies. Granted, the “enemies” showed no restraint at all when persecuting DT and his supporters, but acting like your enemy neutralizes your moral and perceptual superiority.
