They lie because that’s the only card they have left to play. Obummercare did absolutely nothing for me. Zero, zilch, zip, nada, nein, nothing.
I was still working when Obummer was president so I had group insurance from work. Then, I got laid off at the end of July in 2015. I was 63 so I took early retirement but I was too young for Medicare. I didn’t want Obamacare so I went without. I filed my 2015 taxes, expecting a refund from IRS but the refund was taken by the IRS as a penalty for not having insurance in 2015. I was insured through almost the end of July. I was only uninsured for 5 months. So I signed up for Obamacare starting 2016. I chose the Bronze Plan because that was the cheapest out-of-
pocket. When I filed my 2016 taxes, I was penalized for not having the Silver or Gold Plans. I was one of the many who got screwed because of Obamacare. The premiums were expensive and the co-pays were expensive and limited. I chose not to get Obamacare in 2017 and, fortunately, I turned 65 in May of 2017 and I qualified for Medicare AND Trump was our new President! The rest is history and screw Obama and his Obamacare! That’s the end of my saga but I’m sure there were others in similar situations. Obama lied through his teeth about his socialist “healthcare”, which I never believed anyway.
