Both Russia and China are fully involved with defending Iran by having their military and intelligence assets inside Iran doing the actual targeting and launching of their missiles and drones. They have taken over almost all of the air defense, ballistic missile and drone operations targeting American assets in the region. This is their payback to Trump for neutralizing Venezuela’s oil output. Russia, especially, wants to get back at Trump for continuing to support Ukraine. This has turned into an open proxy war for Russia and China.
