She definitely hates America. All she’s ever had to say was how bad America is and how great Somalia was. To me, that “spray” scene looked like a setup. She didn’t even look concerned afterwards that it happened when she said “I can’t be intimidated.” I would be concerned about the contents in the spray bottle at the very least. If it had been for real, the contents in the bottle would have been caustic that would cause physical pain and possibly skin damage.
