As a retired Critical Care RN, the thing that stands out to me is the lack of urgency among all the personnel. That is very suspicious if a cardiac arrest did occur.
Personally, believe no urgency is needed when the patient has expired, and begun their transition to the beyond, which in this case is probably the eternal fires of hell. This individual became very evil over a decade ago due to a severe case TDS. Not any tears coming from me as a result of this passing. God, please continue to Bless President Trump, the United States of America and all those who have served, or are now serving the greatest country in the world.
I have been in the room AND PARTICIPATED in 600 or more emergency crises. Cardiac, respiratory , and sudden death from a dissection of the Aorta, either arch or abdominal . Regardless , Mitchell McConnell is 84y.o., he should have retired when he was 70yo. To be “surprised” that he had a medical emergency of ANY KIND , is silly. I suggest that you blow up a Childs balloon. It gets to a point when YOU KNOW it is going to pop. Choices are, stop , or keep going UNTIL.

In most jurisdictions, paramedics do not have the authority to declare a patient dead except in certain circumstances. For instance, a decapitated person, or someone found in rigor mortis. Otherwise, if the body is warm, it’s worked on and transported to the ER.
