It will not only help stop the entry of illegals but also halt elites from countries flying in to have their newborn here in the US then returning home but with a child who is now an American citizen & acquire our benefits. If you not a citizen of the USA & you have your offspring here, NEITHER will be considered an American citizen. They will have to apply for citizenship. Birthright citizenship has become totally misused & very costly to America’s taxpayer.
How can you even ask? It was purposely misinterpreted as to the original purpose of birthright citizenship. If an illegal alien (illegally entered our country) has a baby in the US, that baby should be illegal also. If someone enters the country legally, through the ports of entry and has been properly vetted, any of their babies born in the US are legal citizens. It’s that simple. If you’re illegal, so is your unborn child. If you’re legal, then so is your unborn child (and as a legal citizen).
Another question for those that don’t agree. If a child is born in America to an illegal, does that make his parents legal? They can’t separate the child from the parents, rights? Therefore, this is a sneaky way to get around the law. Next thing you know, we’re overwhelmed with an overflow of unvetted illegals, and on and on and on.
Common sense dictates that anything as precious as U.S. citizenship must be earned……not given. The children of foreigners are welcome to apply for citizenship, but just because they happened to be born here should not make them citizens.

and while we’re at it, NATURAL BORN CITIZEN to only run for any government office also,
they come here ready to pop and drop kid and medical paid by taxpayers and kid becomes citizen NO WAY,
they need to re read and understand the constitutions and the amendments and not pick words out and apply to cases as needed for their benefits, it’s all the same for all
Now to correct all those illegals having babies here and given birthrights. First, remove citizenship, second remove those families and third, remove all benefits we are given these “birthright” children and families. Amazing how much we will recover.
We cannot allow those previous given birthright children to retain that right. They could be given the right to claim citizenship when they turn 21 and can be a contributing member to our society but just not as a free loader.
YES, we cannot allow them to stay and raise another generation that we have to pay for.
The ‘Dreamers’ need to go with their parents and they need to blame their parents for putting them in that situation, not Trump, not the Republicans, not the every day US citizen who had nothing to do their parents’ decision to make them into an anchor baby.
